Zach (Marty) Martin

Zach is a senior at UNCW, majoring in Marine Biology and minoring in Environmental Studies. He is greatly concerned with our negative human impact upon our Earth, and seeks to increase awareness within the UNCW campus, Wilmington community, and even globally.

As an ECO member, Zach headed up the campaign to increase recycling efforts around the UNCW campus, and currently helps manage the effort. Before leaving UNCW in the spring of 2009, Zach hopes to start a tidal creeks clean-up event, as well as help with Project Hot Seat.

After graduating in spring 2009, Zach hopes to attend graduate school, focusing on fisheries biology or ecology, while striving to reduce and further understand our negative anthropogenic effect upon planet Earth.
